Since the show's climatic ending in 1997, Sailormoon still continues to captivate seasoned otakus and anime newbies alike. The manga was created by Naoko Takeuchi (or Takeuchi Naoko...but I'm American so I have the habit of stating her first name first) and was featured in Shou-Comi, then comprised into 18 volumes for sale. The show itself ran for 5 years in a primetime spot and is THE MOST successful anime series ever, with millions of dollars in merchandising, etc. There are thousands of websites dedicated to the series as well as a community of fan fiction writers and fans. But there is life and anime beyond the Sailormoon series. Hopefully this section of the site can help you take a look beyond the Anime/Manga series that we all love and perhaps fall in love with another anime.
